Default 2012 Audi A6 Self Study Program Guide

Attached is a very informative self study guide for the 2012/2013 A6. It provides a great deal of additional info not found in the manuals. Note that when this was published, the MMI section addresses the software available at the time of the 2012 release. MMI system 0566 or later software, released for the 2013 C7, contains some features not yet available, i.e. added video functionality, start-stop and Google Street View. (Some 2012 owners have reported that their dealer has since agreed to update to at least 0566). Enjoy.

I'm avoiding messing with that one like the plague.

The word reset sounds like I will lose all my MMI preferences. Is that true??

Problem solved. Shut down the car for >10 mins and MMI returned to normal.

No. Resetting the MMI will not erase anything. It's just a reboot of the computer. Good to try if you have something freeze or not work correctly.

I remeber reading through this as research before I bought the car. Wonder if there is way in VagCom to get the brakelights/rear lights to behave in the euopean style as that looks better.
