2013 Parking Brake?
2.0T Prem+. The parking brake automatically sets when you hit the stop button and shut off the car. I did a search and didn't see the answer and nothing I see in the manual said it will automatically set. Doesn' matter if door is open or closed. Is this normal? Just picked the car up this afternoon and drove it 95 miles home " What a ride". I love this thing and I'm sure I'll be bombarding you guys with questions.
Thanks for the answers in advance

yes, the parking brake will set automatically when you turn the car off. It will automatically release when you put into gear, with your seatbelt on of course. Will not auto release without seatbelt.

Just picked up my S6 and showed the salesman that was why the parking brake wouldn't release.

Seems like I saw an option in Vag-Com to possibly disable this seat belt requirement "feature". I'll check again next time I hook it up to my car.
