I have the same remote start as DanfZX14 and it works ok. It seems like the colder it gets the less reliable it is. Last night after pool, 0 degrees and no start but the lights were on. Maybe it's just my settings (3 weeks to get it looked at but by then its warmer out outside and it works good) but I would say a 60% success rate. If it was my car to drive not my wife's , no biggie. Yeah the remote starter is for my wife 2016 A6 2.0T she loves the car but really misses the remote start from her last car, so it goes, happy wife happy life

I'm going with the Compustar VWX000A in my A6. Best Buy sells it for $399 installed by me. That includes the wire harness.

I NEVER have had a failed start and I've had it since 2015. Mine has a remote feedback that tells you that the vehicle has started.

Where it initially beeps like 3 times then beeps like 4 times when it is supposed to be started?
