I prefer our C7 rear lights, C8 front lights look better.
Lucky for us the C7 will still look good and relevant with the c8 in the market.
I still think the A6 is one of the best looking car from the Audi range.

The silver car in the video posted above is S-line and it has the fake tips, as does the red car... otherwise, it's pretty nice, but so is the current A6. I'm also not a fan of the new, touch-only MMI interface - the fingerprints and smudges would drive me crazy. They should have still kept the wheel, buttons and touchpad as an alternate interface method.

From these links s well as the Motor Trend and Automobile mag alerts I received today it appears the C8 will only offer the 3.0 in the US. That, combined with all the new and improved tech suggest a hefty price hike for the average A6 the dealers will stock. It may be time for me to think smaller, cheaper - like n A4 or Q5.

I like it. Obviously does not follow the Lexus/Toyota/Nissan/Infinity think which is a very good thing.

For others, I guess so. For me, I only lease new. Just a preference. Despite having run the data center for a major company until a few years ago I am a low-tech person. I still have a 12-year old non-smart mobile phone, have no play lists and make/receive probably fewer than 3 or 4 calls a month in the car. I just look for a solid well-built, good looking car that can deal with snow and is fairly economical. My 2016 A6 2.0 P+ has been that, but I don't use even probably a third (or less) of the techy things it offers.

I really like the looks of it overall, and glad they designed spots for the key and a phone in the console. Not too keen on the virtual cockpit dash, though. Too video gamish. I guess I'm old school but I prefer real gauges.
