3.0 TDi powerless and glowplug light blinks P00870
 

3.0 TDI 2012 with CLAA Engine 204 PS.

When driving, suddenly the car becomes unresponsive and superslow, and the glowplug light blinks, It even throws this faultcode P00870 which is something with low pressure rail.

I have read couple of threads that it could be a blocked EGR valve, so I want to try with the cheapest thing, to Clean it, but where is it located ?? :)

I don't know anything about the EGR, sorry. Maybe check the fuel cap, though. While I didn't pull the code to find out which one it was, I had a similar issue develop after fueling a while ago. Just needed to retighten the cap and all was well. Looking up your code, it is a generic fuel system code so this fits in with that. As I assume you know the car is in limp mode. Sure is a weird feeling when you are used to hitting the accelerator and actually accelerating.
