Hi everyone, im looking for advice and your opinion on this. Week ago i purchased nice looking A6 C7 2011 3.0 tdi quattro 245 hp engine S-Tronic with 204.000 KM / 126.000 Miles , im very happy with car its amazing except something caught my attention with fuel consumption which i not sure if its ok for this engine or not. On secondary road if i drive in efficiency mode gear E6 - E7 and speed 80-90 KM/h instead of seeing fuel consumption drop on short-term memory most time it just keeps growing. From 10.5/l can grow to 14/l and then not want to drop below 11.5/l - 12/l or in US metric from 21 mpg increase to 16/18 mpg. This makes no sense to me or this is normal. No errors on dashboard, no bad sound from engine, last service done on 195.000. Could something be wrong with engine or this dashboard, sensors? This is my first audi quattro and diesel car. Any update on your fuel consumption issue? I have a 2014 A6 3.0 TDI that's running about 9l/100km cruising at 130kms on the autonahn. Trying to see if this is normal sonce its well over audi's 5.1l/100km advertised economy. Thanks!
