Here we go again, 46,000 miles on car and it has started burning oil again.I had the oil consumption procedure done last year and it helped but now problem has returned. Car is great in every other way but it is again burning a quart of oil in the last 2,000 miles, down from a quart every 10,000 miles previously. I have less than 4,000 miles left before the warranty is out. Let's see what Audi does since I am now due for the 45,000 mile service.
Should I look into getting extended service contract this being the case to cover myself????

What kind of oil are they putting in your Audi? I have been using Royal Purple 5w40 and its not burning oil. When the dealer put in Castrol Edge 5w40 during the first free maintenance it did burn 1qt in 10,000 miles.
