I am new to this forum. I am recently shopping for my 1st German made car and A6 Prestige is on the top of my list. I wonder if any San Francisco Bay Area members can share what price (before tax and lic) they paid for the A6?

My company offers 7% off MSRP discount for Audi and Palo Alto Audi offers free maintenance plan that covers through 40K or 50K miles. I wonder if better deal can be found for A6. I noticed BMW and Mercedes offer close to 10-11% off MSRP on their 535i and E350, not sure if Audi will have similar deal.

Actually, I was wrong. Employee discount is only 6% off MSRP.

@tenspeed, do you mean 6-7% off MSRP is pretty good deal already?

The Audi Club North America and the Supplier discount is 6% - the free maintenance is called Audi Care and it covers the 15k, 25k,35k, and 45k service. That is not usually discounted much less freely given since there is little margin for the dealer. Sounds like a good deal to me.
