A6 smoked standing still...

Tonight, I come out of the mall with my son, and look what's next to me... Ugh. In a perfect world, that would be my car's garage mate.

He probably figured that there is another proud Audi owner and he won't ding my doors so I'll park next to him.

LOL.

My son is trained only to park in the right places, and one of those is next to the right cars.

I have told him it is, after all, only a car, and something will happen and I'll just fix it without a flip out, but, be smart.

In the past I've had cars keyed on purpose. What a shame. Makes me want a dash cam sometimes.

Now, about the built in radar detectors.... ;)

That's the first thing I thought.

+1. I park far away as I am not afraid of the walk. Never next to a minivan (bad experience when I was younger) or by a cart return. I try for the curb and I park right next to it. Or odd size spots. And I always back in. I get angry when some POS parks next to me out in the sticks of the lot as well. 50 spots around me and the person has to choose the one next to me. WHY?

Two beautiful cars!

I hope the meet and greet didn't end up this way:

We did hang around for a few minutes just to take the meet and greet so to speak, but we had to go eventually. That's a gorgeous car the R8. At least around here, you don't see many. If I get to a track event, I'll run one if I can. There is a driving school a friend instructs for north of men in Scranton. He said I can track my car but I'll fry the tires in about 30 laps.

I'll watch for Audi events in the NE for sure too.

All Audi owners must be cool on some level. Right? ;)

Minivans absolutely are the worst. Very close to them is nearly every pickup truck owner I've seen unless the truck is perfect in the first place.

The thing that really burns my bacon is the deliberate key scratch. It happened to my RX7 twice, my S80 once, and the RL twice. In every case it was a grocery or a Walmart. Not a big mystery who pulls out keys walks all the way out and does that, especially when they leave tire tracks from scooters.

LOL...Thought the exact same also. :D

I'll park next to the MBs BMWs etc also. But Audi is preferred. What I'm not sure I'd do is park next to an exotic in the first place regardless. The other direction, yeah, s/he can do that. I'll just skulk away a few seconds slower. As it were.
