anyone know if they're easy to take off the old ones? someone posted that you just grip and turn counter clockwise. Nope. Are the welded on? If so, guessing I need a muffler guy to switch them out. I just think the car will look more aggressive with the black tips.

I haven't heard of anyone removing the tips. I would guess that they are welded on.

How about removing the valence and painting the tips that you have? They would be faster, cheaper and easier then buying black tips, cutting old tips off and welding new tips on.
