bringing this back from the dead it seems.
im gettings this issue as well and scanned the car with OBD Eleven. It says the issue seems to be because of a door contact switch. I dont get an open door message though.
Ive checked individual door electronics using the software and i get no errors in any of them.
Does anyone know how to diagnose which door it could be from using OBD Eleven?
Does anyone know if thats a part that can be replaced on its own or is it part of the entire lock mechanism?

Anyone have any insight...ACC and Brake Guard not working - VAG COM Module 13 auto Distant reg. Fault code 154624 Door Contact Switch. Tried turning the child safety lacks in the door latches. Seem it was the rear driver side door. This worked for a few months of periodically removing rubber grommet and turning the plastic latch. Bought a used door latch with the hope it would resolve. no luck. All door output test worked fine- no faults. Don't want to randomly replace every door latch with the hope it solves the fault. What to do? Please help.

From my research there are many issues that can cause this problem. For me 2012 A6 Prestige 75K - My camera (windshield mounted) just failed w/out warning or cause. My dealer wanted almost $3K to repair. The camera alone is like $1700 (audi) then you have to get the calibration alignment. After some time I was able to buy a used camera off ebay for $345. I called around to all close by Audi dealerships to and found one that would do the calibration alignment for $500. Well true costs there was $578. I still have to put the trim pieces back on. I think they are designed to break a little no matter how careful one is to remove. That said I will no need to use some double sided tape when I go to re-install. Hope that info helps some folks with this issue.
