Amber EU
I just rode 50 miles in a Mercedes in Switzerland, the first thing that I noticed is that there are more Audi’s here than anywhere I’ve been. Second thing is that the roads are excellent, as previously stated: it puts the USA to shame. Lastly, it’s great to see amber turn signals and people who are smart enough to use them all of the time, not just when they need to push in front of someone.

Another observation: Germany (and Switzerland) seem to have more Audi avants than sedans. A3 hatchbacks, A4 avants, A6 avants with some Q5’s. The European countries may prefer the comfort and handling of a car/avant rather than the inefficiency of suv’s. Also, diesel is the majority although diesel costs more than 95 gas.
Just IMHO and not any science associated with my observations.

It is quite interesting seeing the cars Americans treat as "luxury" come with cloth seats and hubcaps in Europe as standard.
And diesel, too. Even the new C class is only offered with diesel until you get to the AMG.

Amsterdam already has a schedule to eliminate diesels and are trying to set the date for the ban of ice vehicles altogether. Buying a diesel in numerous cities is a risky investment, the ban is coming and the residual value will plummet when announced.
I do like the no “undertaking”, compulsory indicator use, increased speed limits and drivers who have a clue as opposed to the Los Angeles perpetration of incompetence.
