Anyone with premature battery failure?
I took my 2016 in for the fuel rail recall today. I mentioned that the stop/start system wasn’t working- and not because it was in warmup or the ac was on. Service guy said the only other reason was low battery voltage. I said that the battery should be well charged from a few lengthy trips.
When I picked up the car, they had replaced the “faulty” battery. No cost to me.

Great. Faulty brakes, fuel rails, heater, air bag, and now batteries.
I'll pay more attention to the start-stop - I almost never use it since I drive nearly exclusively in sport mode.
I called up 2 weeks ago for the fuel rail recall. They had to order the parts. 2+ weeks to get recalled parts? The parts must be in Germany! Audi knows how many cars were affected, and where the cars are. Why don't they have all the parts in a warehouse in Kansas for all US affected cars? I guess that would be too logical and consumer friendly.
Boy - I'm in a complaining mood tonight.
