Default Audi a6 bitdi

Hi,

I got a question as i get different answers from audi dealership. As car being BITDI it has tip-tronic gearbox but my question is do you change gearbox oil and if yes then so how many miles.

one dealer said you never do and another only when I will start feeling something wrong with it.

I have also heard thats in RS6 you should change it but it is same gearbox zf8

thanks

it's a ZF HP8 gearbox. Audi says - oil should never be replaced. ZF says to replace it each 100k km.
https://aftermarket.zf.com/sea/en/af...on-oil-change/
There's a manual how to replace the oil. I would call - it's a partly replacing, as it's impossible to drain all old oil from it this way. But this way also is the safest, as it doesn't bring the friction material up to the gearbox.
So I would just make it twice: after 1-2k km again same procedure. So it won't be partly replaced and also very safely. Never use that machine for draining and filling up the oil.
Also the whole oil replacement package can be bought directly from ZF: Filter, oil and everything required.
