Default New Perspective Audi Owner: Which A6 should I buy?

Is there any significant difference between a 2016 A6 3.0t prestige and a 2018 A6 3.0t prem. Plus?

Looking between these two cars.

2016 https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/2694906 2018 https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/2519008

Appreciate the help!

I did not look at the specs. of those 2 cars, but one nice difference in the prestige is heated and cooled seats. That is nice to have in all climates.
Good luck in your search. I have purchased 2 cars from Carvana, and was satisfied, I found the inspection they do is a plus. They have been close to
eing broke recently, but that should not deter you. It is hard to find the right Audi, and dealers like to inflate prices too much.

The Prestige package is luxurious, Premium Plus is not.

Prestige has lower miles, no reported accidents...but that driver's door looks like it's been painted.

Maintenance is more important than either age or miles. But if you don't know about maintenance, I'd buy fewer miles over a newer car (to a point)

Something which seems a little odd - the 2018 says it comes with the sport suspension, but the rear valance is not the valance that come with this package. The 2016 doesn't say anything about having a sports suspension, but has that particular valance. May not mean anything, but just wanted to point that out.

Too bad the old VIN decoder went ****-up. Anybody find a new one that works?

Kevin -- OUCH! LOL. My PP is luxe enough for me -- not a penalty box. Not much liking concept of buying from Carvana.......

Best,
Jeff

If your going to get an A6, you gotta get a Prestige. I'm not even sure that a PP even has real leather. We had a loaner PP we took on a trip and it was pretty lacking. Even the Prestige A6 is not the greatest, but at least it has cooled sets. I was spoiled by my A8 and the quest to find another loaded A8 or S8 continues for me. I only bought an A6 to "get me thru", but then kind of started liking it size wise to scoot around with, but Its just not up to the task of being a luxurious highway cruiser. Make certain to get the options you want. You dont want to settle for less if you keep a vehicle for a while. There is large differences between the models and levels when you start digging into them. I put up with a cheaper A6 once and I wont ever make that mistake again, the fake "pleather" seats suck!

The PP+ absolutely has real leather. The don't offer anything else. I actually wish it was pleather, as pleather doesn't age and holds up much better. Real leather softens and cracks and gets mushy after a while. I do hate the standard seats overall though. Not enough thigh support. It's the thing I probably hate most about my car. Otherwise there's not much more. A used S8 would be awesome if you can get one with low miles, well maintained and at a good price.
