I have never been happy with our back up cam definition. I have not had the chance to drive a C7.5 but I assume that it has a better camera. If it does, can one just plug and play a C7.5 cam to our C7.0? Thanks.

Had the C7 and currently have the C7.5. Both camers suck.

The rear camera on NON-Top view system car is analog.
Cars with top view system use a digital camera. The improvement is slight not major but I feel there is slight improvement of quality.

However if the only interest is much better resolution to rear camera than the upgrade to a top view system is not worth the cost. However, top view is it's own reward. = )

Yeah, I was just looking to see if I can upgrade the definition for a couple of bucks without reinstalling the whole system. Has anyone here used the xcarlink camera? Audi A3 A4 A6 A8 Q7 Trunk Boot Handle Reverse Rear View Camera :: AUDI :: XCarLink

Amen. Whenever I'm in a rental or loaner, this is the primary feature I always miss. I doubt I could park in some of these D.C. garages without scraping something if not for top view.
