IMHO, the interest they're making on the $340m settlement fund is worth waiting to make full payment.

I got my phone call and an email, they have no clue that we were concerned about the language on the check and on the notice sent with the check. I have noted the correspondence in my file and signed the check with notation of it being 1/2 payment.

Didn't want to agree to take the 1/2 payment from VOA until I was sure that there is no downside to it. As far as I can tell most owners are taking the half and not waiting for the full amount and/or the fix. So, did those who received the 1/2 check deposit it? What does "take the cash in hand" mean, if you cash the check it still gets signed and attached to your account?

I received the full $1500 today. Not sure why I received the full amount as it looks like a lot of others only received half.

I had previously received $750, the remaining $750 showed up today in the mail. I did call and write them and do not know if this had a bearing but they have paid in full on my A6 TDI prior to the fix.
Hope everyone else gets their check soon.

My wife and I both received the second 750.00 in the mail today.

Received second half today as well.

Just waiting for the December 8th deadline to see if passenger car fix is approved.

I am also waiting for my first check. My other car (Q5 TDI) has already been paid in full (2x $750). I called Bosch yesterday (Monday) and the agent told me that they sent a check in September but that it's already been voided. She said that it's strange because it should not have already been voided, too soon. I told her that I never saw the check. She escalated by submitting a ticket to another support desk and said that I should hear back by EOD Wednesday. I asked her about the status of my claim as a member of the settlement, and she said that she can't see the status. I thought that was odd, considering that she could see that a check was mailed. She said that whoever calls me by Wednesday should be able to confirm my status.
