BOSE surround sound
I enjoyed listening DVD Audio with DTS 5.1 surround sound. Does anybody know is it possible to listen alternative surround formats like SACD or DTS CD? Thanks for comments.

Not sure. SACD usually has a Redbook (CD-compatible) layer, so at worst that will play. It will be hard to tell whether the high-resolution layer is actually playing.
As for DTS discs (the only one of those I have is Eagles - Hell Freezes Over), the only thing to do is to try and report back.

Not sure any car ever offered SACD. Some did support DVD-A, Acura did until 2013 and Infiniti still does in the M37. I beleive the Lexus M&L is supposed to support DVD-A, but when I test drove a GS and brought a DVD-A I could never get it to play. Since I have a small collection of DVD-As it makes it a pleasure. The Acura ELS is one of the best sound systems in a car today. Sadly all their new ELS systems from 2013 on support DTS, but not DVD-A.

Not to derail the thread, but did they improve low frequency response on the later systems? I had one of the first TLs (first-generation ELS system) and, while it was very clean and imaging was great, bass response was really wanting.
