Good. It's only a 4inch so it's not like the system is transformed but it's an improvement. But after all that buzzing anything would have been.

I realize this is an old thread, but wanted to thank the OP!! The Kenwood worked on my 2012 A7. It was a little deeper than the Bose so the installer had to make a quick cut to accommodate. I paid $29 for the pair of Kenwood and $48 for installation for a total of $77+ tax. Dealer wanted $450 to install the inferior Bose.

So I'm in the process replacing mine. For those that don't want to splice I'm 99% sure the Bose connector part # is this: 4E0972575
Unfortunately I can't seem to find a NA source for them.
