In my former S4, I had to use the MMI and go to the car settings and then the A/C setting which had the option to sync. Hopefully, this is similar. I have the sync button in my new A6, which makes the process easy.

so what they told me on the phone, they where completely wrong. From my research is you need to have the cold weather package, which i don't. I also looked deep into the mmi and found nothing. i hope they fix this cause its one of my major gripes with the car. the other major gripe is i don't have the prestige with led headlights and advanced key but thats different post

I have the cold weather package, and there's nothing there to help turn off dual zones. This really seems like a major oversight. Can that really happen?

One thing I was thinking is that by default, the car is synced. When you turn the passenger **** it becomes unsynced. Then goes back to default next time you start the car.
Maybe? Haven't tested it yet, but would be fairly logical.
