Cabin Filter
Quick question. I saw a couple posts where people said their dealer told them to change the cabin filter every year, but the 2018 maintenance schedule shows every two years. Anyone have any info on that?
TIA.

If you drive over sand dunes every day then I would suggest changing it more often. Obviously, conditions dictate frequency of change, 2 years is for normal driving in normal conditions.

Under the glove box, there are 2 screws to turn a half turn to remove a cover, then pull out filter. Put your head down in passenger footwell with a flashlight, 5 min job.

I just replaced mine last month. Fairly quick easy job.
Removing the two screws removes a trim cover piece and will expose the cabin filter housing.
Reach up along the side of the filter housing and you will feel a cover release arm that will need to be pried in order to release the access cover.
With the access cover off replace the filter and then work backwards from there.
