Change Oil on Audi A6 C7 FWD 2.0 TFSI engine
Hi everyone, first of all I have been on this forum for quite a bit and that is what made me decide to get my Audi a6 c7. I have been daily driving it and have put over 11k miles on it in the last 30 days.
I made an Oil Change video for it, I hope it can help some of you out
Please leave comments and suggestions, thank you!

Get an oil extractor. You don't have to jack up the car or mess with the drain plug. Everything is done up top. Also, is that a good place to jack up the car? I thought the C7 does not have a front center jack point.

Pretty sure the missing noise insulation piece covers the jack position he used (or is unique to FWD), so the rest of us would need to jack at jack points or use ramps. I use the extractor (last few changes), but think every so often will do it the old fashioned way to see if anything (gunk?) is accumulating down near the drain bolt that maybe the extractor doesn't reach down to.

I think you've got to get the engine type listed in the title. Let people know you are working on a gas 4 cylinder, Carman.

Thank you all for the suggestions and feedback. I really like doing it the old fashioned way compared to the oil extractor.
As far as jack points, the place where I jacked it up is totally safe
Yes my vehicle is a fwd 2.0t and it was missing the front shield cover

actually there is a center jack point in the 3.0T quattro. if you look underneath the car, you will see a subframe in the middle where the front and the rear piece of plastic cover are screw into, that should be a good solid place as a jack point. obviously once the car is up, you would use two jack stand on the side of the car AND leave the jack on as a third point for safety :-)

That is very dangerous the way you have the car held up in the front only by the hydraulic jack. You must use jack stands in the front as well as the 2 in the rear. The two rear ones that you are using will not help you if your jack fails - the front of the car will come down on you and crush you. You should never get under a car being held up only by a jack.
