Default Check Engine Light On.

Drove the car yesterday for 3.5hrs running great with no issues. Sit for 4 hours then turned it back on to go to my hotel and light is on. Seems to run fine though and I haven't noticed anything or any strange sounds. Can't wait to see what this is when I get home.

Check engine lights are frequently smog related so it should be covered under the pollution laws associated with the year of your car.

If a component failure contributes to increased smog output then different warranty rules apply, at least in California, your mileage may vary.

Took the car in for a fuel line recall today, asked if they can do the TSB for the transmission cooler valve while it's there. We'll see what they quote me.
