Default Control unit not responding, ODBeleven

Has anyone else had this problem? I can't get past this error so I won't be able to enter the new battery code.

Yes it is. The Energy Control Module treats a new battery differently.

I just got this reply from ODBeleven support:"February 12, 2019, 08:26 +0000Hello,

this control unit does not exist in the car. Can't be accessible."

I'm sure I have one too but I can't figure out why the software and ODBeleven blue tooth thing can't find it.

Interesting reply. I thought that it was in there. I wish they would have explained it a little better, maybe it is only for certain years. I have an Autel MK808 and it says it can program the battery for the car, including a 2012, but of course it doesn’t show what the process is that it uses.

I did get more of an explanation from them but it didn't help much.I believe you. But the thing is that the application didn't found this control unit in your car. Have you tried to perform the full scan?February 12, 2019, 13:03 +0000I have the Audi A6 prestige level trim with the 3L supercharged engine.
Every one of those cars produced that year has an energy control module to
regulate the power that comes from the battery and all of the cars
electronics. Other Audi owners who have your hardware and software are
able to program the energy control module for the new battery. How do I do
that? What options do I select that will allow me to do it?
