Did you get a gift from Audi for purchasing new C7?

Maybe getting the earphones and file binder depends on how good a deal you negotiated. The bigger your discount, the less goodies you get?

My gf and I both got the welcome package last week, no headphones. We both each got a Tumi/Audi branded laptop bag from the dealer for our patients during the buy process.

Purchased 2013 A6 3.0T on 9/4/12 and the dealer gave me a stainless steel mug, baseball cap, small can of mints, and a key FOB before I left the dealership (nearly 600 miles from home).
Nothing from Audi USA and I just did the survey about 2 weeks ago.

I took delivery on 7/28 and just this past week received a very nice welcome package from Audi of America with a nice little Audi Heritage book, a plastic card with important AoA phone numbers, and some other literature. Overall a nice gesture. No earbuds, though. My feeling is they probably aren't doing those any longer...

I don't think it's a waste, though. Maybe it's because this is my first Audi, it's nice to get a little something in recognition. I just came from a Cadillac where you got -nothing-, heh, so any little extra here and there just helps to elevate the brand in my opinion, which is probably what they were going for.

I did get a really cool luxury car though. Guess I'll have to settle for that.

It just reminds me of the movie Dave, where he said, "You want to spend 50 million on a campaign to make a customer feel better about a vehicle they already bought?" I'm sure it wasn't nearly that expensive, and a welcome package is certainly nice, but I get a welcome every time I open the door and those brilliant LED headlights illuminate the garage.
