I have an A3 TDI 2003. Recently upon unlocking the car I get a fan noise running for about 20 seconds. It's coming from a unit behind the compartment panel in the boot. This might be related but was also getting a beeping noise which googling seemed to suggest the alarm battery needed attention (which I haven't yet done). Thanks
