Glad I decided to wait until April of 2020 to get the fix.

Noise during warmup and lower speeds is substantially louder and now has a a very prominent sputtering sound between 1-3000 RPM in normal drive mode. The roads around here are so bad and pitted and I bought the A6 because it was so quiet.

Acceleration is different too. I'm kind of aggressive and I'm experiencing lag and some weird intermittent lurching which reminds me of the old days when you were not shifting gears smoothly with your manual transmission.

Mileage efficiency has been about 5mpg less, but I was prepared for that aspect.

To top it off they wouldn't give me a full tank of gas as stated in the book - just $40 worth which I is not mentioned anywhere on any documents.

I'll be dumping this one soon. As much as I love the A6 and am swooning over the 2019 redesign; this whole experience is shifting my audi loyalty.
what year is your A6 and where are you located?

Default 2015 Q5 TDI

I had the "fix" done at around 25K on my 2015 Q5 Premium Plus. I've noticed the following, obviously all negative:
  1. Cold start engine sounds a lot more like a diesel, and throttle is much less responsive
  2. During normal city driving, sounds a lot like a traditional diesel and engine noise is increased
  3. Overall acceleration from stop is reduced / increased lag
  4. Transmission is noticeably more lurchy at low speeds
I recall reading in the settlement that performance would be "substantially unchanged" and I have to say, I'm a little surprised their lawyers agreed to this wording! I wouldn't be surprised if there were follow-on lawsuits in the districts that allow it.

I leased my Q5, but these negative changes will probably mean I won't be purchasing at lease-end.

Ha, just noticed I'm in the wrong model forum. Maybe my Q5 experiences will be useful or interesting to compare anyway <shrug>

It seems that the reviews have been mixed across the platforms

Quick update on my end: The dealer set my tire pressure as 36 front and 41 rear; I didn't catch that at first. I adjusted it to be 39 front 37 rear and am now getting roughly the same mileage as I've got before the fix.

Hooray!
