Fob battery tip
My car just turned three years old. Two days ago some odd issues started with mmi not shutting down when I left the car and funny light blinking when I opened the door to startup. Today the car wouldn’t start and gave message key not recognized.
Fortunately, I read a post here a few weeks ago that the batteries don’t last very long. So, a couple of weeks ago I ordered some lithium 2032s and had them handy for replacing the dead battery. Thanks forum!
