Default GPS Week Rollover April 6, 2019

Does anyone know if the A6 C7's nav system (or any of the Audi nav systems for that matter) are or are not affected by the GPS week rollover coming on April 6, 2019?

There are a lot of articles out there, but this one is good:

Older GPS's like Tomtom, Garmin, etc, may be affected too. I have an older Tomtom that is affected and needs an update.

I had not heard of the issue before. Hopefully somebody will be able to answer the question.

It sounds like a hoax on a smaller scale to y2k. GPS gets its information from a satellite so I’m not sure that we can do anything anyway.

I would have to agree with DB22. If this was a real major issue Im sure that major companies that use GPS (EVERY CAR COMPANY, GARMEN, APPLE, ETC.) would have press releases on it. Quite frankly the article linked earlier in this thread seemed kind of questionable. Their description of the issue made little sense to me. I did some brief research and I could not find a single reputable (IMO) news article or press release regarding this issue. The one newer article I did read (although I personally question the accuracy of the website) said that any device built after 2010 should be fine. Therefore all C7 A6's and 2010+ Audi's should be fine, that is if this is even a real issue at all.
