Hands free phone quality through Bluetooth?
Just picked up my 2015 A6 Quattro with I assume the latest MMI about 30 days ago. Anyone having problems with taking calls via Bluetooth? I have an iPhone 5s that is paired with it. Whenever I get a call the audio sounds good on my side, but whomever I am talking to says I sound terrible and there is banging noise in the background. I thought it was because of road/wind noise but my callers say they hear it even when I am driving locally and less than 40 mph. Any thoughts?

My wife says the same thing when I talk to her while in the car. I have a '12 and have paired both my old iPhone 5 and my new 6 Plus, and she says it sounds terrible. I wondered if it was because I was talking too loud, so I've recently started talking in a normal voice, as if she was in the passenger seat. She hasn't commented on how bad it is recently, so maybe that solved it?
Do you find yourself talking extra loud? I tend to do it without realizing it...but maybe that's just me

There were reports about microphone issues in the early models when a seal was not properly installed. Have your dealer check the microphone, the sound quality shouldn't be bad.

There must have been a problem with the earlier models. I had a 2012 C7 and I was told that it sounded like I was talking under water. No problems at all with my 2014.
