i have audi a6 hybrid . the left head light broken . is there any coding needed if i replace the head light assy?

More info would be helpful, i.e. trim, model year, headlight type and your location. Depending on the type of assembly you have, I could be wrong but if you replace it with the same part number there shouldn't be any coding needed. It may have to be reaimed though.
