Default MMI display collapse/expand question

Hi,

I just have my new A7 sedan (C7) and have this strange behavior of my MMI display.

When I start the engine the display expands.
When I stop the engine and open the door, the music stops, but the display does not collapse. It turns black but with some background light. When I then try to force it to collapse by pressing the button it switches on again (music starts playing).

It seems the only correct way to have it collapsed is to collapse it manually (using the button) before switching off the engine.

Is this intended behavior ? I thought it was possible to have the display collapse automatically when turning of the engine ?

Thanks

Mine closes after turning the engine off and opening the door. After tuning the engine off it will stay up with the active source on until I open the drivers door.

Thanks !

I just retried it and now it also closes when the door is opened ... Strange ...

Unless it has got something to do with the fact that previously I kept the Start button pressed to start the engine until the engine really started ... (so multiple seconds) ?
