Default Help me choose my next car...

This might be a weird question and a weird place to post it but here goes.

After 4 Audi's and nearly 20 years I have decided to leave the Audi family. I would love to buy another Audi, but the nearest dealership is over 70 miles away, and I'm just tired of it. Currently I drive a 2013 3.0T A6 Prestige.

There are not many luxury dealers in my city so I'm spreading my search a into non-luxury. The main things I want area sedan, AWD, CarPlay and some reasonably high-tech features. I'd also like to downsize in actual size as well as price.

So what has this narrowed it down to:

Subaru Impreza
Subaru Legacy
Ford Fusion SE
Ford Fusion Sport (Fully loaded 2017 can be had for a little over $30k)
Buick Regal
Ford Taurus
Dodge Charger
Chrysler 300
BMW 3 Series
Lincoln MKZ (nice 2017 can be had for around $40k)

That is it...

Front runners right now are

2017 Ford Fusion Sport
2018 Subaru Legacy Sport
2017 Lincoln MKZ (2.0 and V6)

Anyone want to throw in on this?

Subaru weak engine, fusion build quality terrible, Lincoln HUGE depreciation. I swear by Volvo, great cars, superb seats, excellent awd system. You really should check them out. Donít buy the Lincoln with the four cylinder! Iíve owned BMW, will never own another.

😂😂 That was a great way to break everything down. I've never driven a Volvo but everything else I agree with except BMW. I did have a 1988 BMW 325is in High School and I loved that car. Still regret selling it. I like the 7 or 5 series BMW. Everyone has the 3 series.

No Volvo near me. I have to pick one of those listed.

Subaru Legacy sport: great car, AWD, reliable and low depreciation/high resale. At its price point, I think it is the best.

Yeah I have been leaning that way, just make a move and buy a car under $30k. The engine is pretty small, but I drove it and I wasn't even that offended by the CVT. Has some nice tech in it (although you can't get rain sensing wipers for any amount of money...)

Default My two cents

I have to chime in here again. I have done the luxury car back down to a lesser vehicle and for me it has never worked.
People here in Maine love their Subaru. I don't, too much plastic, underpowered, jiggly suspension. The other huge seller is Volvo XC70, especially with the T6 engine, e350 4matic as well. I have had many MercedesE and S class, great vehicles and outstanding service departments.
Get an almost new, lightly used car instead of a 30k plus new Subaru......
I'm in a 2014 A8, 4.0, great car!
