Has anyone experienced the garage door button simply failing? Just stopped working. I cleared the codes and reentered the pairing via using a remote aimed at the four rings. It accepted it by blinking headlights three times. However, no joy after a number of tries. I finally got it working again using the learn button on the garage door opener. Took me a couple of tries though.

That is correct. When programming with garage remote and you get the 3 blinks, you try the button. If that does not work, then you press the learn button on garage motor, then press button in car twice. When you have to use the Learn button on the garage motor, you have rolling coded garage motor.

Ah, thanks. That explains needing to use the .learn button. Still wondering why Home Link suddenly failed. I hope this is just a rare blip. I don't carry a house key and the only way in is through the garage.
