I know the porsche guys got all up in arms and they will now be offering the 911 in manual again next year.

I'm hanging on with my most recent purchase (for myself)....also, don't want to have to think of a new screen name! Automatic-only S3 never had a chance with me on this cycle.

+1. And I'm hanging onto my now 22 year old car that thank God has a 5 speed manual. I'm happy to sacrifice the extra second or thereabouts that it takes me to get to 60 mph for a more involving driving experience. The 0-60 game is not my thing anyhow.

You can get a 911 ( Regular, S or GTS) with MT. The Turbo and GT2 / GT3 models are ones that been available only with a dual clutch auto. The track oriented models are faster with the pdk.

Or a Cayman S.....my son just did that a few weeks ago.
