Default How to disconnect driver seat bottom seat heater

Can someone tell me how to disconnect the bottom seat heater in my driver's seat? I want to keep the back heater active. I commute long distances and the seat gets too hot, but the back feels really good.

You cant unless you are willing to dismantle the seat and access the wiring for it. The base and back heaters are linked together with a plug under the seat or behind the rear plastic net cover i cant remember atm. I have stripped these seats a few times.

I disconnected the seat bottom element for my wife on another car. That car had two separate elements with separate plugs. I would plug it in when I put the winter tires on.

If the Audi has one connector, you could cut one of the wires to the lower element and put a switch inline.

Audi typically wires the bottom and back element in series, with a thermostatic sensor in the bottom half. You definitely want to thoroughly research this before you try it.
