Interior colour advice
 

Hi folks. I'm getting a new A6 in January. It will be Ibis white on the outside and it will have fine ash wood trim on the inside.The dash, steering wheel and carpets will be black. Should I go for:

a. black leather with silver headliner
b. black leather with black headliner
c. nougat leather with silver headliner
d. nougat leather with black headliner

I'm leaning towards d. myself but perhaps a. would be better. Any opinions would be appreciated. Cheers!

my wife, (the smart one in the family) thought the black headliner was too dark. We have C, but obviously a matter of personal taste. No right or wrong.

Look at the pictures from their website - to my eye the nougat (black) seats with the sliver/grey headliner has an abrupt change in color when it transitions from dark to clear.

I first thought the black headliner would be dark or keep the car too hot (I live in Texas) but after seeing several of the interior pictures I went for it and am glad that I did - the interior seems so much more consistent.

In the end it is a personal preference - the car is still great fun either way you go!

Either B or D, but definitely the black headliner. I had '06, '08 and '10 Audi's with silver/light grey headliners. When I got my '13 A6 from dealer stock I didn't know it had the black headliner. For a week or so I just felt the interior seemed so much more upscale than the previous 3 Audi's and then one day it hit me - the black headliner! It makes a world of difference: no abrupt break between dark door panels, dashboard, etc. to the lighter pillars and roof. Get the black headliner - it doesn't make the interior dark, just classier.

In some pictures the nougat looks kind of orange. Is it?
