Phone is connected no problem. Shows up in MMI ok. When I dial it shows up as dialing on the MMI screen but no sound at all and it's not on mute. When I switch the phone to speaker its dialing fine. What gives?

I had this with my iPhone also. Had to reboot it and re-pair it. After that it has worked fine since

I tried that. reset network setting on the phone, deleted phone from the MMI, re-paired it and...didn't work. hopefully since the car's been sitting for an hour or more it reset and will work. Annoyed. Thought buying an Audi would save myself the BMW headaches. Thought wrong apparently. Still a German car.
