Led headlights for A6
Hi friends, I decided to change the headlights to FULL LED for my A6 С7. Is it worth buying a used headlight from two different A6?

Pretty sure you'll need more than just the headlights. You might also need a control module, and then you may need to program some things via VCDS.

I heard the LED headlights are mapped to VIN and a used one won't work. Don't know if that is still the case or someone finds a way to hack the code but I was told you have the buy new one from dealer.

If you are going to buy LED headlights, buy only complete set. You need two control units for each headlight (totally four) and fan on each headlight as well. You also need to change the lights switcher on the left side of your steering wheel. If you donīt have it, you also need high beam assistant and harness. VCDS coding is required.
