Hello all,

I searched on the forum site. But I could not get it correctly.

I have Audi A6 C7 2011 Sedan with MMI 3G+

is there way to update MMI software update to use apple car play in my car?

is there some one have this update disk?

I really do not know ways how to do it.

You can not get it with an update but you can buy a module that will give you carplay and it works pretty good.

I was hoping that update would work for my vehicle also since I'm a 2016 but its only for MY17 and newer. You have a 2011 so its not on the list anyways. The aftermarket kit is nice cause you can also mirror your screen.

The software update for Bluetooth interface or Audi connect in conjunction with MMI radio / MMI navigation is only available in the A1, A6, A7, Q3, TT and R8 starting from the production month of June 2014 (model year 2015).

But! if you open the pdf file; it is written there;
If the system update item does not now appear in the concert radio / MMI radio,your concertradio / MMI radio is not ed for this update. Note: the software update for the mobile phone preparation (Bluetooth) or Bluetooth interface in conjunction with MMI radio / t adio is only available in the A1, A6, A7 and Q3starting from oduction month of June 2011 (model year and A3 starting from the production month of August 2012 (model year 2013). As at: June 2013.

I will just copy those files to sd card and plug to the car and try to update.

A high quality SD Class 10 for faster (and safer) file operations.
The separate firmware upgrades are bellow 1GB in size but the map is 29.1 GB hence the 32GB SD.
The modified version of the firmware does not need the green menu to enable the user defined mode.
It also does not contain any updates for the sound system. It will activate the green menu during installation.

I don't think any of this will result in Apple CarPlay being activated, it looks mostly to be an MMI and Navigation database update. Please be careful, I've seen some posts where people tried this themselves, and ended up at a dealer to fix an inoperable MMI - at a high price (thousands). Good luck!
