So I figured where the water was retained, apparently when I opened the rear drivers side passenger door I started looking at the bottom of the door and see there are is some wetness. I then proceeded to slightly pull on the rubber molding on the door at the bottom and down comes over at least half a gallon or more of water pouring down. I recently had the rubber moldings changed on this door from Audi as they were tearing on the top of the door. Looks like they did not install it properly or something was missed.

Wow. That's a lot of water and a miss by the installer. Obviously they need to redo the seals. Be sure they pull the panel and dry it out thoroughly to avoid any mold from forming.

Well, I've done my tests on the A6 TDI and I actually found the sloshing noise wasn't because of Adblue or the gas tank. I was surprised by this and realized that I just did the 25K service and ... filled up my windshield washer fluid. So I ran it down quite a bit and the next day did my turn and heard the sloshing.

Go figure.

Just found this thread as the same issue has occurred on the same door. Pull the seal a little and a gallon of water poured out. It must be a window seal. What was the solution in your cases?

I took it to the service center and they did some adjusting of the rubber seals. For now it seems to have stopped collecting water.

I had that in my Lexus Sc430. Turned out to be the coolant. It was low and I could hear it flowing. They topped it off and it was gone. That's how quiet that car was. Should never have sold it. Only 27000 miles too.

I've heard that too. It's like a babbling brook and the sound is constant. It's air going through the heater coil.

Water in the door or other panels make sounds when starting, stopping or turning.

Today I heard the same swish of water coming from the rear. This time it was the passenger side rear door. It seems that there are several vented holes being covered by the lower rubber gasket. After dislodging the funk in these holes, the water flowed out.
Problem fixed. Test your car. Do several short stop and go series. You will hear "swish" from the rear.
