MPG Display For 2014 A7
 

I just purchased a 2014 A7 3.0 TFSI Premium Plus Sedan. Unlike my same model year Q5, there seems to be no way to access either instantaneous or average MPG displays. The "miles to empty" reading is always shown. If I scroll through the normal choices, I can see MMI features & compass, but no MPG.

Finally figured this out with help of the manual--The main display tab was set to Digital Speedo. This can be reset to On-Board Computer with the Menu Button and Scroll knobs on LH side of the steering wheel, after which short & long term memories can be selected for MPG readings, or a bargraph displayed. I have a feeling it will take awhile to get familiar with all of the available choices!

I'm like you in that I have the instantaneous MPG's displayed and I have been keeping a record of the indicated MPG's and compare them to the actual MPG's. My car reads about 107% higher than actual and I plan on adjusting the computer.
