Chrome and Body coloured handles ...

I don't have a picture but it is body colored with the Black Optic Package - Daytona Grey in my case.

I guess changing the inlays to body colour is out of the question. Removing the whole handle is also a PITA. What do you guys think about wrapping them in "Daytona grey vinyl wrap?
I'm not sure, but would the body coloured handles be found on the "base" model (not technic)?

A wrap would could definitely work. Execution would be just as important as the color you use though.

Call the parts department and ask the counter guy how they are attached. They can look at a handle diagram to see how they are held on.
If you're the adventurous type, warm up your appliques with a hair dryer and try to gently pry them off. Many times trim like that is held on with Scotch 3M double sided tape. Practice on a rear door handle first so if you screw it up, it's not something that gets touched everyday.
