Default Audi A6 3.0 TDI 2012 C7 - White Smoke - bad turbo ?

I just purchased a Audi A6 3.0 TDI 245 PS, S tronic version. It was the top spec version with LED headlights and MMI with touch pad. I did do a test drive of the car before i got it, it all seemed well.

I paid and took the car yesterday and drove it for about 100kms, post that this happens.

I tried to floor the accelerator in a open road, i was in S mode. the car pulled in gear 2, changed to gear 3 and stopped pulling and i notice that the clutch was slipping. Then i panic, put it back to D, and tried to gentle with the accelerator, it seemed like it was smooth for a moment, but then the car started to jerk and DSG gear shift was also jerky. So i stopped the car in approx 300 mts and then i realized the car was giving thick white smoke off its exhaust. Stopped and the car and didnt crank it after that.

1) Loss of power, clutch slip effect
2) White smoke (loads, i will upload a picture soon)
3) jerky on the move (it was very similar driving a TSi without the breather vacuum hose connected )
4) The MMI says oil is very low after stopping the car
5) We did a scan and the results say,
O2 sensor heater circuit open (Bank 1 Sensor 1) - permanent

The car has done 90k kms

It happened in just 6 hours after taking the car from the used car dealer, now i seem like a crazy person to my family.

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Then you have a 4 year 48k mile Audi warranty covering nearly all of the engine, including the turbos and the sensors. The warranty also includes diagnostic time on engine/emission related issues. So you should take the car to the dealer and let them fix it for you.

All this discussion regarding EPA and recalls pertains to the USA, if you don’t tell us which country you live in then this information is useless. Please put your location under your logon name.

One other thing, white smoke from the exhaust is usually indicative of coolant entering the engine then being burned off.
White - coolant
blue - oil
black - fuel

I Just updated my profile, i am from India and from what Audi India says, there is no such warranty here and the only campaign it went through was an "fuel injection system" change, probably the previous owner assumed it was the emission update
