Outside temperature sensor location

I also don't see the temperature sensor in any of your pictures. Even if it has fallen it seems like it should be visible.
The lower front grill is where it should be as far as I know on the U.S. models.
I removed the upper front-end cover to see what mine looks like. I can't see the temp sensor because it is hidden below the bumper.
My wiring harness splits and one set of wires goes to the garage door opener control module, and the other set of wires goes to the temperature sensor.

if you buy a new bracket 4G0820536B I have a few pictures that might help you. it took me quite some time to figure out where it mounts but i got it
