Paddle Shift Stuck

Audi A6 3,0T Supercharged paddle down shift is stuck. I won't move. I isn't doing anything, it just won't move. any ideas?

No. It feels like it's jammed forward, i.e. towards the driver, and won't go back.
It will shift up using the right hand paddle, but won't shift down using the left hand paddle.
The gears work in every other format, D, S, +- using the stick.
