Default Problem with Advanced key?!
Hi, have problems with my keys, the car does not start when I have the keys in the car but must keep them against the plate in order for it to start.
Does anyone else have the same problem or know what it can do? (tried to replace the battery in the key)

Brand new battery?
FOB not in the same pocket as the cell phone?
Aftermarket electronics in the car?

I had exact same problem with one of my fobs. No door lock response but fob against icon on dash would start the car. New battery no joy. In my case after testing the fob, my dealer determined the fob transmitter was defective. Need a new fob.

But the OP didn't state that he changed the battery in the fob, he stated that he "tried" to, implying that he did not change it.

Since the OP has not posted his location I am not 100% sure, but I think English is a second language. I think the OP is in Sweden. So I am not sure what the OP is trying to convey.

It’s incredible the number of people who have no idea that location is important but there are hundreds of people on this forum that seem to think that every Audi is built just like the one they own.
