Q5 to A6
I picked up a 2018 A6 recently. I had a 2016 Q5 for about 3 years, and had major A6/A7 envy. Finally pulled the trigger about a month ago. It's more roomy than the Q5, fits the kids' car seats and strollers, and huge performance improvement. I'm in love. So far I just threw on the RS6 reps from my Q5. Planning to tint the car. Let's see how long I can hold out before a tune lol.

Nice looking ride! I think I would like those rims too.
.....I'm just down I-75 from you. Georgetown. Who do you plan on going to for the tinting? I've used Solar Tint in the past and have been very happy with them. I will probably have them do the A6 and S5 too.

You have a nice set of cars!
I was going to go to Eclipse. I've used them twice. One time it went well the other not so much. Had to redo the tint on one widow twice. However, it seems like it's the poplar choice for Audis. I know Audi Connection uses them. They use Solar Guard tint. What % are you doing? I am considering 35/40/50%. I don't like really blacked out windows.

Congratulations on the new ride. I just picked up a 2018, but different rims, and i love it. I had a 2016. I actually want to mod as soon as possible, never done it for an Audi, is there a specific performance stack that everyone is really happy with. Stack would imply, if its exhaust = this company. turbochargers = that company. and maybe remapping/chips = etc. Let me know. New member.

It's possible that mods would nullify warranty for the parts they affect. That's why I'm torn on the tune.
Christian do you have a 2.0T or 3.0T? 2.0Ts are turbocharged, and 3.0T is supercharged. I'm more familiar with the 3.0T. Exhaust is tough as there don't seem to be many options, and some of the ones that have been tried have no effect or you end up having drone. The AWE exhaust seems a popular one, but at almost $2k it's not a great mod for the money IMHO. There are plenty of tunes for the 3.0T. APR and EPL seem to be the popular ones. Shameless plug, I'm most likely going to sell my EPL tune. Let me know if you're interested.
