Question about A6, coming from a BMW
Just sold my 2012 535i and looking to get into a A6 but had a couple of questions.
Is there a big difference between 2016 and 2017 A6 3.0 Prestige? The 2016s are about $4k to $5k cheaper and was wondering if I would notice a difference between the two besides being a year newer.
I def. want the Driver Assistance Package and Prestige trim. Did they update or add any new features between the 2016 and 2017?
Anyone come from a 535i? Are you happy with the A6?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

The things that i love and wouldn’t do without:
1. HUD
2. Drivers Assistant Package.
3. Prestige package in general. I have had a premium plus, never again.
The things I probably would not do without:
1. The upgraded seats.
2. 18 inch tires.
3. Heated rear seats and heated steering wheel.
i can not speak about the difference that you asked. I own a 2018. I love it. I have heard an awful lot of great things about the 2016 new diesels that are or were available from some dealers. If you can find one of those they are a great deal.

If you are getting Prestige I think the only difference is CarPlay. You would have to find the car optioned with Driver Assistance, which I do like. HUD and LED headlights should be standard with Prestige. Virtual cockpit is only on the 2019 models.

Carplay would be nice but I can do without it if I can save $4k.
Thank you!

Yeah I got a '16 Prestige TDI that is awesome. The MPG and comfort (it has no sports package) is great. I had to go to Washington to get it but it was a dream to drive back. Going on 13k miles and nothing wrong. Definitely go for the Prestige and IMO get it sans-sports package. Had a '14 with it and whenever I had backseat passengers they commented on how uncomfortable it was.
