Splash guards
Can anyone post a pic of what the C7 A6 looks like with the Audi splash guards? I have always put splash guards on my vehicles but I want to see how they look on the A6 first.

This is the first car I have not done splash guards on for 2 reasons, first the Prestige has S-Line side sills and thus the standard splash guards will not fit, and for some reason I never see any Audi's with splash guards and have to admit I think it will take away from the sleek subtle styling of the A6.

Seriously, I am not a fan of splash guards. In really deep snow and icy roadside plow-piled crust they can get ripped off and even damage the bodywork they are bolted into. Also, unless you keep flushing the little crevices out, you can get road salt and crud build up, eventually leading (possibly) to rust/corrosion. Happy Thanksgiving all! |
I find that when the wheel well gets full of slush, you kick the splash guard and it all falls down. That way it doesn't freeze in wheel well.
